"quarterlifecrisis" (quarterlifecrisis)

Made it out to what is likely my last cars and coffee in Raleigh, as I'll be moving to the VA Beach area in 3 weeks. As a bit of a going away present, I got to drive the 41 Packard up above. This was my first experience with a 3 on the tree. (Side bar - I drove THE Torchbug last weekend, that was my first air-cooled VW experience...thanks Jason!)
As you can see, we had some snow this morning. I didn't bring my car out, but these gentleman were braver than I.
Actually, if you look behind the G35 a few rows, you can see the taillights of my trusty old pickup.
Saw my first RC-F in the wild, which was interesting.
Otherwise, slide show is below, comments criticism, all that fun stuff is welcome. It was a bit gross out this morning, and I was visiting with people, so I didn't get as shutter happy as I have in the past.

It's usually a pretty good turnout. The weather this morning was crap, so, not bad considering that.

VA Beach? I grew up in Norfolk. What're you going for? Work? School?

Found out about that one from facebook. It's every third Saturday of the month at the Raleigh Grande.

I'll actually be working in Hampton, not sure on where I'll be living yet. Got a promotion, so, that's good.

Congrats. I miss that area very much. I miss the water. Unfortunately, Norfolk may be under water in 50 years. Or less.

Thanks, it'll be a big change from me, as I'm originally from Illinois. Where are you now?

That's funny; I was living in Oak Park before I moved to Norfolk. My parents had divorced a few years earlier, and I moved from living with my mom to living with my dad. Talk about a big change. But that was almost 40 years ago.
I'm in Austin now. Came to TX to get a master's degree, then a doctorate, and never left. I'm a professional musician, though it's not a full time gig. I'm a full time stay-home dad.

Wasn't completely my doing, but worked out well. Thanks.

Trumpet player, right? I've got a Bach Strad tucked in the closet. I know how that goes though, not firsthand, but know people in that kind of situation.

Yup, trumpet player. How old is that Strad? You might get some decent money for it if you are looking to sell. But I can also see wanting to hold on to it.
